Ash Albeser is a visual artist from Southampton, New Jersey. She received her Bachelor’s of Fine Art from the College of New Jersey in 2021. She works in sculpture, installation, performance art, fiber arts, and digital illustration. Albeser’s works focus on human emotion and experiences by projecting onto animals. Their inability to verbally communicate gives humans the ability to interpret emotion through intense and unique body language, facial expressions, and sounds.

Madison Cascardo

Madison Cascardo is a New Jersey based artist, who resides in Trenton. A graduate from The College of New Jersey, with a BFA in Fine Arts, she concentrates on installation work, and photography. Her work focuses on creating ambiguous experiences between environment and form. Being both objective and multi-faceted, her work engulfs her exploration process of materiality and meaning, allowing viewers to expand their views in relation to themselves, and the piece.

Addison Cooper

Addison Cooper is a BFA graduate from The College of New Jersey. Working primarily in the traditional medium, he dissects personal life experiences and incorporates the commanding elements into his work. Exploring symbolism has been crucial for Addison’s aim of expressing emotion without letting the viewer directly into his space. The result, however cryptic, hopefully creates an atmosphere of both mystery and intrigue.

Shelly Crooz

Shelly Crooz is a Xicana mixed media artist, based and raised in New Brunswick, NJ. She graduated with a BFA at The College of New Jersey. Much of her work focuses on her Mexican Heritage and unique experiences and surroundings as a Xicana individual. It is important for Crooz to be able to represent people of color and evoke dialogues about identity, culture, and gender through her work.

Jamie Davidson

Jamie Davidson is a New Jersey-based photographer currently studying for her Bachelor’s of Photography and minor in Marketing at The College of New Jersey. She explores ideas of shape, line, and texture through her execution of fashion-inspired photography. This is done by posing models in intricate angles to create a complex viewing experience that emphasizes fashion and often speaks upon current events within society. Davidson’s process is largely based upon trial and error, as her shoots utilize elaborate environments. Her photos focus on unique shapes and lines the body is capable of while also showcasing textures and patterns of fashion design.

Lucia Gardiner

Lucia Gardiner, is a mixed-media artist with a primary focus in printmaking and photo-montage. Much of her work centers on the examination of preservation vs. deterioration, as well as society's relationship with tradition and womanhood. She has taken part in opportunities such as The College of New Jersey’s Mentored Undergraduate Summer Experience, 2020 (MUSE), for printmaking and studio sustainability,as well as The 2021 Remarque Print Workshop and Gallery Print Exchange, located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is currently based out of Hammonton, New Jersey.

Lily Gilston

Lily Gilston is a visual artist based in New Jersey working in multimedia fiber and sculpture. Her solo exhibition, emerge, embrace, was on view in the TCNJ Art Gallery in November 2020. Gilston was selected to participate as a Student Collaborator in the Mentored Summer Undergraduate Experience (MUSE) Program 2020. She was an Assistant at the TCNJ Art Gallery, and the Gallery and Programming Intern for The Center for Emerging Visual Artists in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Gilston received her Bachelor’s of Fine Arts from the College of New Jersey in May 2021. She plans to continue her practice as a personal investigation of her surroundings.

“I want to share my story. I look at myself and feel pride. The circumstances I have faced have turned me into the person I am now. I have been doing some unintentional exploration, where I have had unexpected realizations about myself. I have learned more and more about my history and use that knowledge to fuel where I go.”

Samantha Leigh Kearney is a visual artist who strives to maintain her world. She has a concentration in works of paper and constructs different forms to recreate the familiar. She lives and works in New Jersey. She is a graduate of The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor in Fine Art and a minor in Sociology. She plans on continuing her pursuance of her small company, ThriftPrints, a sustainable fashion brand that emphasizes individuality. She is looking forward to expanding her capabilities in printmaking and book arts.

Ryan Levy

Ryan Levy is a lens based artist from Toms River, New Jersey. He graduated from The College of New Jersey with his BFA in photography and video. Prior to attending TCNJ, he received his Associates in music at Middlesex County College.  Passionate about concert photography and videography, Levy works with musical artists to capture their lives on and off the stage. He extends his practice by photographing moments from hikes in the great outdoors.  In light of the pandemic, Levy began incorporating the techniques of sculpture and installation.  He works as a photo/video assistant for photography and media artist Jay Muhlin at his company, Lemon Juice Projects.

Halle Luttrell

Halle Luttrell has spent her undergraduate education studying Fine Arts with a minor in Art History. She specializes in oil painting, however she continues to develop her education in every area of art making. Her goals for her career are to curate for an art museum, and to teach on a college level. Her work is strongly connected to her own experiences as a woman and an artist, as well as personal connections to people in her life. She is currently based in Bergen County, New Jersey and has plans to attend graduate school in the fall to pursue a master’s degree in Art History and Museum Studies.
