Olivia D’Iorio
Olivia D’iorio has two series of untitled photographs that explore the language of photography through a strong focus on lighting, composition, and viewer experience. In the first series, she experiments boldly with color through the model’s clothing, creating an intentional contrast that feels both uncomfortable and visually captivating. Her second series shifts attention to how viewers engage with the work, with photographs that play with materials and portraiture and how they might interact, using transparency film as her medium and presenting the images in a suspended, spatial installation. This setup invites the viewer to move around and through the photographs, experiencing them from multiple angles and perspectives, and encouraging a more immersive and interactive relationship with the work.
