4 Years, 82 Days, 2025

Sarah Romano is a Fine Artist based in New Jersey graduating from The College of New Jersey. Sarah’s work deals with themes she feels passionate about. Her work in the exhibition is about climate change. Her main mediums are sculpture, charcoal, and painting.

My work addresses the urgent issue of climate change, using animals as symbols to bring to light the environmental damage caused by the government, especially under the Trump administration and the influence of Big Oil. The title, 4 Years, 82 Days, refers to the time remaining on the Climate Clock at the time of the opening of this exhibition. Her work aims to immerse the viewer in nature’s beauty while confronting the impact of climate change. The stag and hawk symbolize the power of harmful forces, while the doe represents innocence and hope for a better future. Through these symbols, it invites reflection on the environmental crisis and the urgent need for change.
